The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans True Confessions

Without further ado, because I’ve been on a blogging-low recently:

1. Did I mention I joined WW two weeks ago? Maybe not, because the very next morning, all hell broke loose in the form of sickness in our house and I had little time to think about it.
2. Despite my (sometimes) crappy eating over the last couple weeks, I logged every. single. point.
3. The first week, it wasn’t pretty.
4. This week, I have 3 flex points left to spare. My new week starts tomorrow AM, so as long as I don’t go on a snackfest (Brooke — put down those peanuts!!) I should be good to go.
5. This weekend, per usual, I ate a few bad things, and I drank a little, but far less slip-ups than I normally encounter on a weekend, so I’m considering this a good thing!
6. I hate weight training. There. I said it. I know it’s good for me, but I despise it. I do it, but I despise it. That is all.

OK, that’s all I’ve got! Not sure what the scale’s going to say tomorrow — is it going to be kind, knowing that I tried my damnedest? Or is it going to be mean and sullen, reminding me of the salt-laden foods I prefer and the fact that I missed a few workouts? Whatever The Tattler has to say, I’ll have my chin up. It’s been a tough couple weeks, things are just now getting back to pseudo-normal, but I did my best! I can handle whatever it dishes out!

Sounds like a pretty decent week to me!! Based on your sick infested house I would say staying withing points is a good thing! I guessing the tattler will be kind to you!
  • Found you through the Sisterhood...

I did WW last year and did well. I hope you like it. I hate lifting weights too but I want to be toned as well as lose weight.
  • excellent job on the point counting!! WOOOOT!!!

but you hate weight training :( that's just sad. i makes me feel like freakin she-ra when i get done.
  • oh, and I TOTALLY count being SHE-RA as a good thing!!!!
  • I really got into it once ( did BFL) but just can't seem to embrace it again. Maybe because our bench and weights are in our (sub-Arctic) garage? I'm looking into some bodyweight interval training that looks promising. And short. 45 minutes doing something I don't enjoy is hard. 20 minutes -- I can handle that. Also, you normally have a friend to work out with. I might find the weight training more enjoyable with a partner, too.
